White weeks at Kronplatz

Your holidays in the snow in Val Badia

Needless to say the main winter activity in Südtirol as it is in Val Badia, is skiing. The Piculin ski slope, part of the Kronplatz ski resort is only 6 km away from Chalet Mornà and from Longiarù. And the slopes of Alta Badia are only 17 km away. Both resorts are reachable by using the free ski bus.

In Longiarù the silence of the snowed-in landscape can be appreciated by a walk in the snow, snow-shoe hikes or ski tours. The winter possibilities for excursions are endless for every level of difficulty and taste.

For families with children the road that brings you from Pares to Medalghes is particularly interesting: this gets attacked every year as far as Ütia Ciampecios, where it is fun to descend on a sledge towards Longiarù

In addition, there's an ice-skating rink at the sports zone which is close to our chalet.
